The Federation’s Disciplinary Council confirms it has opened disciplinary proceedings against Cristiano Ronaldo over his walkout from the camp in Copenhagen. The decision is dated 9 October; the next day, the case goes to the Disciplinary Investigation Committee. Ronaldo, who had been automatically suspended until the proceedings were opened, is now suspended preventively by the Council’s own decision. Four days earlier, in his statement, it was the captain himself who had asked the FPF to punish him.
