jorgejesus.pt is an independent website, run by fans, that serves as a chronological archive ("clipping journal") and opinion portal on Jorge Jesus's time in charge of the Portugal national football team.
This website has no official connection, sponsorship or institutional representation whatsoever with the national team manager Jorge Jesus, with the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF), or with any club, player or sporting body mentioned on the site.
It is not the official website of Jorge Jesus or of the FPF, it does not allow direct contact with Jorge Jesus, and it does not represent, or present itself as, an extension of any official body in Portuguese football.
The content published — headlines, quotations and summaries of news stories — is for information and commentary purposes only, under the right of quotation and the right to information. Wherever possible, the original journalistic source is identified and linked. No official FPF or picture-agency photographs are used; embedded multimedia content (videos, social media posts) is included through legitimate embeds pointing to the original publication.
If you identify any content that you consider inappropriate or that infringes copyright, it can be removed upon a substantiated request.
Polls and votes
The polls are one vote per internet connection. To prevent repeat voting without setting cookies or requiring registration, the IP address is converted into an irreversible fingerprint (SHA-256), and it is that fingerprint that is stored with the vote — never the address itself, which is not kept anywhere. It is not possible to identify who voted or to link votes in different polls to the same person.
This has a consequence that is best stated plainly: several people sharing the same connection share the same vote. That is the case for a family at home, an office, or anyone browsing on a mobile operator's network, where thousands of users go out through the same address. If a vote has already been recorded from your connection, yours is not counted — and the poll will then show you the option that was actually recorded, with a notice, rather than pretending it counted.
Your choice is also stored locally in your browser so that the poll keeps showing you the result on later visits. That local record is not sent anywhere and disappears if you clear your browser data. Poll totals are purely indicative: they reflect who passed through here and decided to vote, not a representative sample of public opinion.
